Friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff. Food good
Bar area had a horrible smell. Someone had been sick all over one of the toilets which is not the staffs fault but after being in 2 hours I asked if the could lock the door and the manager was very rude about it. After he had been in I said thanks he drew me dirty look and said nothing he then was clearly in a bad mood and openly talking about other customers when standing behind the bar.
I'm a semi regular at this establishment. The food and drink are both great and VERY reasonably priced. Also the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a great experience for the whole family
Pre-booked a table for Sunday night. We were informed someone was sitting there, and shown instead to a table beside the bar and next to the fruit machine. We had to ask for the Christmas menu, which they said they had run out of, so we were given copies they had printed off, which were practically illegible. We were then relocated by a helpful member of staff. The first three drinks we tried to order with our meal were unavailable. Not the best of nights out
This is a nice large pub. Serves good pub grub at good prices. Mixed clientele, from young to old. More of working class relaxed atmosphere. Only downside is that it can get busy and noisy at weekends.
